OUR APPROACH

Mental Training Is Training.

01 — LEARN

Discover and understand mental skills through interactive online tools, coach-guided exercises, and personalized support from MY MENTAL HUB and your dedicated mental performance specialists.

02 — PRACTICE

Integrate mental skills into daily tennis training alongside technical, tactical and physical development. Build consistent routines through on-court practice with coaches.

03 — APPLY

Put your mental skills into action every day — on and off the court. Through consistent practice and repetition, train your brain to develop automatic responses that become natural reflexes when you need them most.

THE STORY BEHIND THE HUB

A Vision Born
on the Tennis Court.

Created by Chantal Laforest
Mental Performance Coach

MY MENTAL HUB was born from Chantal Laforest's experience working with junior high-performance tennis players and coaches. Drawing on more than seven years of on-court experience and over a decade of in-depth professional research into junior mental performance development, Chantal identified a recurring challenge: young athletes train their technical, tactical and physical skills every day, but mental training is often practised only occasionally.

Most junior academies cannot employ a full-time mental performance coach. Yet these formative years are precisely when athletes need to develop confidence, focus, emotional regulation and consistent mental routines.

Chantal envisioned a solution: a personalized digital platform connecting athletes, tennis coaches and mental performance specialists through structured daily practice, individual objectives, self-evaluation and regular guidance.

Mental training should be part of every athlete's daily development — not an occasional intervention.

The 8 Mental Skills

Mental skills can be learned, practised and applied. Our eight learning domains help young tennis athletes build practical strategies for training, competition and everyday challenges.

01

SELF-AWARENESS

Learn to recognize your thoughts, emotions, body signals and reactions during tennis. Observe your experiences without immediately judging yourself, and reflect on what they can teach you.

02

MOTIVATION & GOAL SETTING

Discover what matters to you as an athlete. Set meaningful, controllable goals, stay engaged in your development and review your progress with support from your coach.

03

FOCUS & REFOCUSING

Direct your attention to what matters. Recognize distractions, reset after mistakes and return to a useful action during training and competition.

04

EMOTIONAL REGULATION

Recognize your emotions and changes in energy. Explore ways to respond to pressure and choose useful actions, even when difficult feelings remain.

05

SELF-CONFIDENCE

Recognize your strengths and build confidence through preparation and progress. Develop supportive self-talk and practise acting with confidence, even when results are uncertain.

06

MENTAL PREPARATION

Prepare for training and competition using flexible routines, mental imagery and practical strategies. Learn to adapt your preparation to different situations.

07

RESILIENCE & ADAPTABILITY

Face challenges, learn from setbacks and explore different solutions. Adjust your approach, recover when needed and move forward with appropriate support.

08

SELF-REGULATION & AUTONOMY

Take an active role in your mental development. Monitor your progress, adjust your strategies, make informed choices and recognize when to seek support.

HOW MY MENTAL HUB WORKS
Mental training becomes part of the team — not an isolated activity.

One Team. One Plan. Continuous Mental Development.

MY MENTAL HUB connects athletes, tennis coaches and mental performance specialists through a personalized training environment aligned with each academy's development program.

01
THE HEAD COACH

Sets the training priorities and annual development plan. Mental performance objectives are aligned with the academy's technical, tactical, physical and competition programs.

02
THE TENNIS COACHES

Integrate mental skills into everyday on-court training, reinforce routines and observe how athletes respond to challenges.

03
THE ATHLETE

Practises mental skills, completes short daily reflections, tracks personal objectives and takes responsibility for continuous improvement.

04
THE MENTAL PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Provides educational resources, guidance, feedback and mental preparation strategies to support athletes and coaches throughout the season.

BUILT FOR ACADEMIES

Professional Mental Training. Within Your Reach.

Not every tennis academy can employ a full-time mental performance coach. MY MENTAL HUB is designed to help bridge that gap by integrating structured mental training into the academy's existing development program.

01 — INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT

Mental training is aligned with the Head Coach's annual plan and incorporated into technical, tactical and physical training.

02 — EMPOWERED COACHES

Tennis coaches receive practical resources and guided training to reinforce mental skills during everyday sessions.

03 — CONSISTENT ATHLETE ENGAGEMENT

Athletes develop responsibility through regular mental exercises, short reflections, personal objectives and self-evaluation.

04 — CONTINUITY BEYOND THE COURT

Digital tools and structured follow-up help maintain mental training between sessions and during competitions, even when a specialist cannot be physically present.
